Brock Lesnar has criticised the Canadian health care system, comparing it to "a Third World country".

As reported by the Vancouver Sun, Lesnar was speaking about his recent health issues, which peaked during a holiday in Manitoba. Reportedly Lesnar suffers from diverticular disease which led to perforation of the bowel. He was rushed to a medical facility three hours away, but "they couldn't do nothing for me."

His wife, ex-WWE wrestler Sable, then drove him across the border to a US hospital in North Dakota.

Lesnar took pains to point out his fondness for Canada, but describes the medical facility there as "like a Third World country." It's unknown whether the facility was a major hospital or a rural medical rooms, but Lesnar declares the care he received in the USA was far superior; " ... if I had to choose between getting care in Canada or the United States, I'd choose the United States."
